With the environmental concerns of today and legislative regulations being enacted all over the country, ELS has developed the lighting system that meets the criterion to cover you and your business as our lights comply with all government and environmental guidelines. A new environmental concern, termed "light pollution", is on the rise. Both light trespass and horizontal glare have been eliminated, ensuring happy neighbors and customers. The 101 Series, as well as the 105 Series, both employ fully electronic single-phase ballasts and comprise a total of 166 to 168 in-line watts. The 101 Series contains two 96-watt linear quad lamps and the 105 Series uses twin tubes. These units are constructed with two specular superbrite anodized reflectors providing 95% reflectivity. Each lamp is rated at 6700K. This lower operating temperature translates into higher reliability and significantly longer lamp and ballast life. The brilliance of each lamp is focused underneath the unit, where it should be, and not dispersed in other directions. Unit construction is welded alloy aluminum covered with a 3" drop lens. An optional flat lens is available for flush mounting and low ceiling applications. |
